Update on Rey Mysterio Giving His Notice

Since we've been asked about Rey Mysterio not appearing at the Smackdown taping this past Tuesday, I asked around and was told that he had been scheduled to miss the taping due to a lingering knee injury. His absence had been planned prior to the Intercontinental championship loss to Chris Jericho at Extreme Rules and there are plans to continue the Rey vs. Jericho storyline.

Credit: F4WOnline.com . So there it is. Rey isnt giving his release according to this and, as I said in the previous post shortly before this, he is just taking time off for nagging injuries.

Not bad. As I stated, the guy has always been a good talent for the most part, maybe give or take certain times where his work was less than stellar. His feud with Jericho has been rather good, except for his mic work to be honest, so it continuing is a good thing.
